Group leader: Prof. Dr. Matthias Egger

Main focus of the environmental health unit is on electromagnetic fields, air pollution and noise. We perform aetiological research, exposure assessment studies, and risk assessments including systematic literature reviews.

Schwerpunkte des Ressorts Umwelt und Gesundheit sind elektromagnetische Felder, Luftschadstoffe und Lärm. Wir untersuchen deren gesundheitliche Auswirkungen und die Exposition der Bevölkerung gegenüber diesen Umweltfaktoren. Risikoabschätzungen, insbesondere systematische Literaturübersichtsarbeiten, gehören ebenfalls zur Forschungstätigkeit.
