Lesson learnt on aging and longevity: what should be known for more egalitarian health policies
Thursday, 2021/03/11, 16:00
The evolution of longevity across countries is quite diverse and it still remains unclear what determined such different patterns throughout the last decades. With my research group are trying several approaches to better understand difference among and inside countries. A preliminary comparison among Italy and United States indicates, for instance, interesting trends in the evolution of life expectancy, with trajectories that overlap until the early 80s and then diverge substantially.
