I am a medical doctor with clinical experience in paediatrics and a strong interest in children’s healthcare, clinical research, and data management. I also hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. I am currently pursuing her PhD at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM), University of Bern. I manage the ENT prospective international cohort for people with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (EPIC-PCD), a large multicentre clinical cohort focusing on ENT (ear, nose, throat) disease of children and adults diagnosed with PCD. My PhD work at ISPM Bern relates to the epidemiology of PCD, focusing on management of upper airway disease, disease course, and prognosis. In my role, I collaborate closely with a large network of clinical and research collaborators worldwide.
