I am a psychologist with a strong interest in quality of life, mental health, rehabilitation, psychosomatics, and the intersection of physical and psychological wellbeing. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM), University of Bern, and the Division of Neuropediatrics, Development and Rehabilitation of the Inselspital Bern, within the SNSF-funded Parti-CP project (A mixed-methods study identifying barriers and facilitators for participation in children with cerebral palsy in Switzerland – a family perspective). My PhD theses is titled “Barriers and facilitators for participation in children with cerebral palsy in Switzerland” and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Grunt and PD Dr. Anne Tscherter.  I work with qualitative and quantitative research methods. Within the Parti-CP interview study, I contributed to the study conceptualisation, conducted interviews and qualitative data analysis. Based on the findings of the qualitative study, I was involved in the conceptualization of the Parti-CP survey study. Within the Parti-CP survey study, I have been working on the development, translation and validation of questionnaires. Other tasks I am responsible for are the data collection and analysis, as well as different project management tasks. Additionally, I am involved in data collection for the Swiss Cerebral Palsy Registry.
