I was born and raised in Bern where I also completed my BA in History and MA in Religion in Contemporary Society. In 2025 I obtained my PhD in Health Sciences (Public Health Sciences) at the University of Bern. I am particularly interested in the science-policy interface and how research is translated and implemented in practice. On a more superordinate level, I contemplate how science is perceived by different actors in this context and what its “purpose” might be at the societal level.

As project manager for the research groups “Climate Epidemiology and Public Health” and “Community Health and Health Care Systems”, I dedicate my time to increasing the relevance of research outputs in non-academic settings, strengthening visibility, and fostering stakeholder engagement. Where possible, I accompany students and collaborators in their qualitative research endeavours.

Apart from work, I enjoy immersing myself in nature and exploring near and far with my family. Whenever possible, our dog will accompany us on our adventures and in our everyday life.
