My PhD project focuses on substance use—including alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, and cannabis—among young childhood cancer survivors. Substance use is one of the few modifiable risk factors for late effects, and adolescence and young adulthood represent a crucial life stage for intervention. The project aims to identify patterns and determinants of use to inform targeted prevention strategies.
