We developed, adapted, and applied methods to enhance the interpretability and practical utility of research findings, particularly in clinical settings. For e.g., we applied advanced statistical methods (such as Bayesian approaches) to interpret positive and negative clinical trial results and support evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, we will explore tailored communication strategies to optimize the dissemination and real-world implementation of research outcomes, ensuring relevance for all stakeholders.
A major focus of our work is strengthening the research ecosystem by promoting the integration of sex and gender considerations from the earliest stages of the research process (the GRACE project). Our goal is to generate more accurate, equitable, and actionable scientific knowledge that advances populations’ health.
In the ATHENA 2 project, we investigate how factors such as gender, geographical affiliation, and country income status influence the success of research manuscripts : from peer review to final acceptance. The main goal is to promote more equity in the research production and dissemination.
Led by our "Young Researchers at ISPM" community, the (under construct) Podcast initiative will aim to raise awareness among academic community and the public about the importance of public health. Through interactive and engaging podcast sessions, we will highlight key projects conducted at ISPM, making research more accessible and visible. Stay tuned for more updates!
