ISPM organises two types of events:
Eminent speakers from Switzerland and abroad give talks on current topics of interest throughout the year. The seminars are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. The presentations promote the exchange of information about public health topics.
The aim of our lunchtime research seminars is to provide an informal platform for presentation and discussion of ongoing work, methods, and new project ideas, and to promote the exchange of information among the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM), the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) and the Bern Institute of Primary Care (BIHAM). Research meetings are also open to members of other institutes and to interested members of the public.
