Getting to Bern

From Zurich Airport by train
From EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg by train
From Genève Aéroport by train
From Bern Airport by bus or taxi

Closest airports are Zurich and Basel. Take a train from EuroAirport Basel or Zurich Airport to Bern. Upon arrival at Bern main station, please follow one of the following options to get to the institute.

By foot from Bern train station (exit Welle):

  • Walk up Schanzenstrasse (400m)
  • Continue on Länggassstrasse (300m)
  • Turn right at Mittelstrasse and walk till no.43
  • The ISPM-CTU-BIHAM is on the right hand side

By bus from Bern train station (exit Welle):

  • Take bus 12 Bern, Länggasse at Schanzenstrasse
  • Get off the bus at the stop Mittelstrasse, walk 30m back and turn left
  • Walk 400m by foot on Mittelstrasse till no.43
  • The ISPM-CTU-BIHAM is on the right hand side

By bus from Bern train station (main exit):

  • Take bus 11 Bern, Neufeld P+R at Bern station
  • Get off the bus at the stop Bierhübeli
  • Walk 200m by foot on Mittelstrasse till no.43
  • The ISPM-CTU-BIHAM is on the left hand side
