The Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM) at the University of Bern provides undergraduate and postgraduate education and carries out interdisciplinary research in the fields of social and behavioural health, clinical epidemiology and biostatistics, and international and environmental health. Eminent speakers from Switzerland and abroad give presentations at monthly lectures where researchers from other institutes and members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Bern Lectures in Health Science
Funding commitment
The Swiss Cerebral Palsy Registry (Swiss-CP-Reg) has received a five-year funding commitment from Foundation Cerebral. The funding will support the continuation and critical core activities of the Swiss-CP-Reg. The registry is an essential resource for cerebral palsy research in Switzerland. In connection with this financial commitment, Foundation Cerebral published an interview with the Swiss-CP-Reg project manager Anne Tscherter, in their Merci magazine.
