1.12.2023 – The newly established, structured course program in the Public Health Sciences (PHS) aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of Public Health.

The structured course program in the Public Health Sciences (PHS) aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of Public Health and develop competencies in key research methods and applications.

Register now to join the third PHS course program cohort in 2024. Next Module 1 course «Introduction to Public Health and the 4 Themes» will start in March 2024.

The program is recommended to PhD students working on public health-related topics who want to get ready for a post-doc position in academia or an organization close to science. It is also suitable for post-docs, clinicians, and public health practitioners who want to learn about specific public health topics or methods.

The program is highly interdisciplinary, with scholars from several faculties contributing. The program consists of two modules and four themes. Single-course attendance is also possible.

In 2024, the program will offer several in-depth courses in Health Systems and Policy, as well as Population Health:
-> Health Economic Analyses of Single Health Interventions
-> Hot Topics in Health Care Research
-> Cancer Epidemiology and Control
