Two ISPM Professors among the list of Highly Cited Researchers 2021

19.11.2021 – Matthias Egger and Georgia Salanti from ISPM are, again, among the world's most cited researchers in 2021. Their publication records are the result of collaborative efforts with international and national scientists, and have received a lot of attention from the scientific community.

The sole criterion for inclusion in this list is the number of citations in the Web of Science to scientists’ cumulative scholarly output. Many scientists from ΙSPM who do not feature in this list also contribute to research in important ways. Contributions to the Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force and pandemic response are an example of public health work that doesn’t get recognised by citations and should also be acknowledged.
