With the theme “Creating a new normal: Enhancing the relevance of implementation science for society,” EIE2023 brought together the European community of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers engaged in synthesising, translating, adopting, and implementing evidence in human service practice and policy not only in health but also in social welfare, education, and other human services sectors.
During a moderated poster session, Harvy Liwanag shared results from developing a capacity strengthening framework for health policy and systems research institutions in the Philippines in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Sophie Meyer presented types of knowledge brokers identified in a multi-country initiative to promote health and wellbeing through urban governance in low- and middle-income settings.
Both are members of the Community Health and Healthcare Systems Research Group, led by Prof. Annika Frahsa, established at ISPM with financial support of the Lindenhof Foundation.
Prof. David Schwappach from the Health Services Research Group at ISPM, served as a member of the EIE2023 program committee and chaired sessions throughout the conference.
EIE2023 was co-organised by the European Implementation Collaborative and the Swiss Implementation Science Network.
